What is Dragon Well?
Dragon Well is one of China's 10 most famous teas. It's a pan-baked tea over hot woks. The leaves are flattened during the heating process. Authentic Dragon Well,as known as Long Jing, must be grown in Zhejiang province of China. Much like champagne, if it is grown anywhere else it is not authentic. Long Jing is a spring tea picked before Qing Ming on April 5th. In Chinese tea culture, this day divides the premium green tea. Any tea picked before this date is called Pre Qing Ming and is very expensive.

How Dragon Well is Made

Shade Growing
Tea plants are carefully cultivated in TenFu's owned tea gardens in Zhejiang Province,where is characterized by large mountain ranges, foggy days, significant rainfall, and mild temperatures.

Hand picked harvest
Traditionally harvested by hand, tea masters pay special attention to collecting uniform leaves for the highest grade teas. The grinding process is conducted in a clean room.

Refine: Shape of the leaves
The best quality leaves are roasted by hand, with tea masters gently crushing the leaves until the leaves are gently flattened and folded to release the aroma.
