The quality of water used as an impact on the quality of the tea. We are recommended using filtered water. Heat water to the recommended temperature using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.
Black Tea: Heat fresh water to rolling boil or to a temperature of 90℃; Tieh Kwan Yin: 95℃.; Dahongpao: 90℃.; Jasmine Tea: 85-90℃.
3.Loose Leaf :
Black Tea: Use the infuser of your choice, measure 5g of tea . For a stronger brew preference, add an additional teaspoon for the pot.
Tieh Kwan Yin: measure 8.5g of tea; Dahongpao: measure 10g of tea; Jasmine Tea: measure 5g of tea .
4.Infusion Time :
Black Tea: Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea leaves. 1st infusion 15 Seconds, 2nd infusion 8 seconds, 3rd infusion 12 seconds. All an additional 5 seconds for each subsequent brew depending on personal preference
Tieh Kwan Yin: 1st infusion 60 seconds, 2nd infusion 30 seconds, 3rd infusion 40 seconds.; Dahongpao: Steep 15-25 seconds;. Jasmine Tea: 1st infusion 15 seconds, 2nd infusion 12 seconds, 3rd infusion 15 seconds.
